The Danubi tourist train at Taejongdae has been stopped since an accident in July 2026, and no restart date has been announced.
What you need to know
- After a coupling failure on July 3, 2026, Busan Tourism Organization halted the Danubi train and is reviewing whether it suits Taejongdae's slopes.
- Free shuttle buses run instead, but expect a lot of walking.
- Huinnyeoul Culture Village, on the same island, is the other cliff-and-sea stop if you're short on time.
